Saving gas for the environment and your pocket

-Firstly to save money on gas and the environment buy a hybrid instead of a typical gas powered car or just buy a hydrogen powered car or a electric car(cheaper than todays gas prices)
-Try to loose some weight for yourself and the car( its a win-win situation) weight produces drag.
-Slow down, being fast actually burns more fuel
-turn off the ac and windows down, if your under 55mph its good but over 55mph turn up the ac and windows up.
-check the tire pressure, the less tire pressure can create drag and also your tire is smaller
-try not to be idle, not moving still consumes gas because when you're not moving your engine is still on.
- try carpooling
-avoid traffic, in traffic your car is almost not moving but burns almost the same amount when your moving
-Don't use the brakes too much, people sometimes brake for no reason at all
-buy gas in the morning when its cold, in the afternoon the gas is warm, it expands lessening the burning potential compared to dense gas
-One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL or HALF EMPTY. The reason for this is, the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster
than you can imagine.
