1. It seems as though working and pretending to work often pay the same.

2. How do they get Teflon to stick to frying pans?

3. What the hell is "Sunny D" anyway?

4. Why is it that people driving the Mercedes Smart" car look so stupid?

5. They ask what came first--the chicken or the egg, and I’ve concluded a chicken egg without a chicken is just an egg, it could be anything. Like a blank canvas, a motherless egg has unlimited potential, but without its maternal artistry no masterpiece can be painted. Therefore the chicken always comes before the egg, just like the master comes before his magnum.

6. Sometimes the hood of your car may get stuck, and will not open. You may need the hood open so you can refill the washer fluid reservoir. Although you may not get the hood open, and therefore not have any washer fluid, this will not prevent a transport truck from throwing mud on your windshield. In these rare but complex situations, it is important to know: instinctively turning on your wipers is not productive.

7. I often think Facebook has some ancient mystical powers, preventing me from going to long without checking up on it. Then I think, “I want some cheese.”
