Schick Intuition Plus: As Good as Shaving Gets?
posted September 3, 2007 - 5:09pmI'm sure I'm not the only female on the planet who hates having to shave all the time. My biggest problem with shaving is the time it takes up. I'm a heavy set girl and maybe I've got more 'ground to cover' than most but man, it's a pain! I have used all kinds of razors over the last ten years. While I thought I had found my favorite in the Schick Silk Effects razor, I have replaced the old and embraced the new. Schick's Intuition Plus line of razors are just about as good as shaving can get.
You see, it became very difficult for me to shave my legs during my pregnancy. As my belly grew larger and I could no longer twist in some of the necessary positions and angles that shaving one's legs requires I discovered the Schick Intuition Plus at Wal-mart. It was a little bit on the expensive side but I wanted to give it a try.
Pros
This razor is awesome if you are pregnant! I found that I didn't have to bend down as far to shave my legs with this product. Plus the razor is really big and has a rubber grip so you won't drop it!
This razor gives me the fastest shave ever! What used to take forever now only takes a couple zips up the legs a few times. Since you don't have to lather yourself it cuts down on wasting your time - and wasting shave gel!
The Schick Intuition Plus gives me a very smooth shave. My legs feel amazing after I get done shaving with this product. It's a very soft, fresh and clean feeling. My fiancee just loves touching my legs after I shave - they really do feel silky smooth!
Another reason to use this product? It smells great! The Cucumber Melon scent is so refreshing.
Finally, the Schick Intuition Plus works wonders for sensitive and dry skin. Refills come in sensitive skin, advanced moisture and soothing moisture formulas that actually work!
Cons
There are only two problems with this razor, in my opinion. The first being the cost. It's a little high compared to regular razors out on the market and when you need refill packs it can be a bit upsetting to have to shell out the money for them. But I guess if you want quality you have to pay for it. This razor works so much better than any generic, cheaper brands.
The second problem (and the only major one I have) is that you have to change the cartridges constantly. Each one only lasts me about two-three shaving sessions before I have to put a fresh cartridge on. And with the cost being a little higher than I would like it can become a bit expensive having to buy new refills all the time.
