Scientists: Giant Animal Smasher Coming Soon

Not to be outdone by the Large Hadron Collider, scientists from the Evolutionary Acceleration Research Institute (EARI) announced that on December 19, 2008, tests of the Giant Animal Smasher (GAS) will begin. This is also the 41st anniversary of the premiere of Dr. Dolittle. Read about it here:

great spoof of animal-exploiting "scientists"

At first I was offended by this story, as an animal advocate, but clearly the blogger is mocking the so-called researchers who use animals for their "research", which is not only cruel to the animals but really bad science. Thanks!
