Just a few weeks after NYC observed St. Patrick's Day, Scotland takes its turn as the city present Tartan Week, a varied celebration of all things Scottish.

Tartan Week actually runs two weeks, culminating with the Tartan Parade on April 14th. There are performances of Scottish traditional music and rock bands, a soccer match, a Scotland Run race through Central Park, and of course tastings of Scotch whiskey.
