Scott Kalitta was killed Saturday in a fiery car crash. His car exploded at 300 mph. He was not able to stop or escape the crash and ran into the barrier wall at the end of the track.

Kalitta was racing in the final round of qualifying for the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
