Scramjet (Supersonic Combustion Ramjet) - The Future Of Aviation

The Scramjet is the future of aviation. The scramjet is a new developing supersonic jet engine still in testing. NASA has been working on this technology for years and research is also being carried out at the University of Queensland,Australia. Researchers here predicts that this technology will make it possible two fly from Sydney to London in about two hours in the not so distant future. Ten Supersonic engines is scheduled for launch in the Australian outback over the next five years. The first scramjet was launched last year and researcher are now ready for further testing.
