Seattle Seahawks vs San Francisco 49ers NFL Football Week 8 Today 4:15PM EST Full Game
posted October 26, 2008 - 3:11pmSeattle Seahawks bring there 1 win thus far into a game against the San Francisco 49ers (2-5-0). This is a battle of the basements, with both teams struggling to win games. In there last match Joe Nedney kicked a 40 yard field Goal in overtime to lead the 49ers to a 3 -30 win in Week 2. This should be another high scoring game.
Both teams lost in week 7 as the Seahawks were defeated by the host Buccaneers, 20-10. While the 49ers lost to the host Giants, 29-17. The 49ers will be playing in their first game under new coach Mike Singletary. Does the team continue to perform below expectations, or do they respond like St. Louis did with coach Jim Haslett? Haslett has led the Rams to two straight wins since taking over. The 49ers are hoping for the same success.
Meanwhile the Seahawks Coach Mike Holmgren said that quarterback Matt Hasselbeck's status is day to day. And if Hasselbeck cannot play, Holmgren hasn't decided between Seneca Wallace or Charlie Frye. Both have disappointed when given a start this season. I prefer Frye over Wallace.
