Secrecy shrouds U.N. peace mission to Myanmar

U.N. envoy Ibrahim Gambari arrived in Yangon on Sunday on the second leg of an urgent mission to bring Myanmar's junta and its foes to the peace table and end a bloody crackdown on protests against military rule.

Gambari was to meet detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, diplomats said, and the road to the guest house where he was to stay -- and where he met Suu Kyi on a visit a year ago -- was closed by heavy security
