Sell left over craft supplies... as grab bags!

If your business is making and selling crafts, then why not make a few extra bucks from the left over supplies?

I don't know about you, but after I have made a project there are usually left over supplies, sometimes they have not even been opened, as I made a change during the creating of my project.

Why not collect all those extra supplies that you have laying around, such as bottles of paint, beads, balls of wool, scrapbooking supplies, you name it and put them in small grab bags that you can display in a basket at your next craft show, for a deep discount.

Not everyone wants to try a new craft with the expense of craft supplies, and if you have small clear grab bags, such as zip close plastic bags, where you can clearly see the supplies, then customers are more likely to purchase them.

Do, not ask more than a couple of dollars for them, after all these are craft supplies, that probably would have ended up in the garbage, but to a budding new crafter, these may help him/her along with their project. Knitting is a good example of this, you may have a couple of leftover balls of wool kicking around, that would be good for a small project or for a beginner to learn to knit.

I find at craft shows, its good to have a good price range of products, and these grab bags could sit in a large basket on your table for people to rummage through, everyone loves a good deal.

Think about it, before you do a clean sweep of your studio or work space at home, you could make a few dollars and clean your place at the same time!
