Selling A Business And Returning To The Workforce
posted August 27, 2009 - 9:59amOnce was the day when owning a business was an honor, or even deemed courageous. Learning the field of work you applied yourself into, was essential to thrive responsibly. Knowing the competition was ready to challenge, noticing the immediate needs becomes crucial for survival.
Aside from the daily struggles we all face, then would come the operating expenses, wages, and unexpected hurdles of maintenance. This was somewhat cyclical, happening often when seasonal changes would bring drastic weather and growth issues. These problems could usually be handled swiftly, in order to never disrupt the income potential.
The hardest part I believe would pertain to the taxation of the small business. To properly show profits, and pay the taxes on those profits, creates an endless crawl toward perfection. Bogus are the ones who maintain sanity through it all. To hide money illegally, and use aggressive accounting skills, is the way of many. Those unable to seek the proper assistance required to stay ahead of the game, are pulled helplessly downward, to eventual dome. I should have owned a bank, and the government would have helped me out if I struggled.
Now comes the time of working for someone else. The vivid points that I can see will be better, pertain to sleeping through the night, turning off the switch of worry, and differentiating work from home life. I may not be the one calling the shots, but my passion can be seen when working, and rededicated when I arrive home to my favorite part of life.
