Senz Umbrella By Totes Withstands 70 MPH Winds

Umbrellas are great for keeping one dry during an outside excursion on a rainy day, but if the rain is coupled with high winds-bye bye umbrella. The umbrella turns inside out and becomes a bowl to hold rain water, instead of keeping us dry.
Three college students from the Netherlands designed an umbrella that will withstand winds of up to 70 MPH without turning inside out.
The umbrella is asymmetrically shaped, and turns itself into the best position for the wind. This umbrella also has unique eye savers in the design, and has been the winner of multiple design awards.
Sold under the name of Senz By Totes, it is available in the U.S. by online purchase for around $50.
