Seven Animals Ask Anansi: An Intelligence Quiz - Are You A Lion, Hyena, Giraffe, Gazelle, Wildebeest, Kite, Or Meerkat?

Seven animals journeyed far across Africa, seeking hither and yon for Anansi the spider. Anansi calmly waited in his current web, high in a lala palm tree, for the creatures that sought his council, blessing, or a boon. The animals that came were a lion, a hyena, a gazelle, a giraffe, a wildebeest, a kite, a chimpanzee, and a meerkat. Though some were deadly enemies, animals on a quest to find Anansi would not harm any other being with the same goal. As all the animals converged on Anansi’s tree at approximately the same time, an argument ensued concerning in what order they would present their entreaties to the revered spider. Anansi finally settle the dispute by declaring each speech would be given by the visitors alphabetically, in order of their species. Anansi would hold all answers, endorsements, or favors until all had stated his or her case. First spoke the chimpanzee, followed in sequence by the gazelle, giraffe, hyena, kite, lion, meerkat, and wildebeest. When all had made their address, Anansi announced he would only provide what the creature wished of him – whether advice, approval, or grant – that would be the first of the seven animals to pluck a banana from his tree. The race began.
