In this country there are thousands of hard working men and women without health insurance, millions of children go to substandard schools and no one knows how to fund them. However, the United States Government considered the development of the Gay Bomb.

Yep, you heard me right. It was the theory of some overworked pinhead that flooding the battle field with an aphrodisiac would so distract the Iraqi Army they would throw down their weapons and fall into each others arms in a passionate embrace. Sex is a powerful thing. But the great theorist that came up with this notion failed to realize the sound of explosive ordinances trumps everything. Bombs tend to command all of your attention.

This brings me the question: Are the members of the military so homophobic they forget sex is such a relatively small part of the human experience? When did we start believing that sexual urges rule every decision in our lives?

No matter who you are, we are all obsessed with our own lives. We worry about the safety of our children. We worry about how cost of college tuition. We worry about health insurance. We worry about taking care of our aging parents. We worry about maintaining balance in out lives. But in all of that, sex was nowhere to be found.

Maybe that’s it. There is so much sex in Washington they’ve forgotten that most of us are too busy living our lives to allow sex to take over. That’s the only explanation.
