The search is on for a convicted sex offender and a 16 year old girl who ran away with him last week. Matthew Preston Caulk, 40 is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender in Montana. He is convicted for sexual misconduct with a child in 2002.

According to the girl's parents, they had been in a relationship for some period of time. "They have had some type of relationship," a police spokesman said. If he weren't wanted for failure to register, police could do nothing about the relationship.
