The crisp, clean wind gusted through the grassy field on that bright March day. My ten-year-old daughter and I struggled against the wind as we climbed to the knoll in the expansive field that smelled of awaking earth and new life. We carried a small selection of kites, and I could tell that she was boiling over with excitement for she was skipping alongside me.

Tiffany walked through the heavy double doors of the studio, took off her stylish designer coat, and slung it over her arm as she walked toward her dressing room. She took a moment to relish the sight of her name, fastened to the door for all the building to see in purple glittery letters. As she lifted an elegant hand to run her long manicured fingers over the raised letters of her name, a Cartier gold watch glittered in the glow of the fluorescent lights in the hallway. The jeweled hands showed that she was late for rehearsal.
