Zoinks! Like, Mia Northwest called me and Scooby-Doo last night and asked us, more like begged us, to write her xombie-ite this week because she’s like sick or something.

Scooby-Doo was pretty excited about doing the article until we couldn’t really think of anything funny to write about on such short notice. (Like, Mia, dude, you need to give us more of a head’s up next time to come up with somethin’, yikes!)

So the Scoobster and me, we like totally thought about it over dinner. And dessert. And then a snack or two. When we were kinda full, we decided to share with Mia’s readers about how we catch all the monsters on Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? but she told us that most of you already know how we do it and we needed somethin’ original. Like, no way man, that you all figured out the formula! 

But now that the deadline is here, me and Scoob are totally panickin’ for sure because we couldn’t come up with anything to take Mia’s place so we decided to punt and publish a really funny letter that we just got from our Homeowners Association. Like, they are the real monsters here, right Scooby?

So here’s the letter with their complaints against me and the Scoobster. You can judge for yourselves how they are not groovy with us at all!  And after all we’ve done catchin’ monsters in this neighborhood. Sheezers!

Re: Crystal Cove Homeowners Association List of Violations for 23212 SW Sleepy Hollow Drive

Dear Mr. Rogers,

Previous attempts to speak to you regarding the following list of violations have gone unanswered. This letter is to inform you that immediate attention is required to correct the deficiencies listed below and failure to do so will result in maximum fines and/or eviction from Crystal Cove.

1. Mystery Machine is constantly up on blocks in your driveway. Fix it or tow it.
2. Dog waste still not cleaned up from front yard. This is a serious public health concern.
3. Neighbor complaint of haunting moans and rattling chains coming from your house.
4. Neighbor complaint of marijuana-smelling smoke coming from your house.
5. Neighbor complaint of extremely-loud rock music coming from your house.
6. The Homeowners Association has video documentation of your alleged hoarding problems.
7. House guests staying longer than guest passes allow, which is 72 hours. This includes a) A gentleman by the name of Captain Caveman, b) A woman who said her name was Josie, and c) A group of people calling themselves the Chan Clan.
8. Neighbor complaint of a mystery woman in glasses, orange sweater and brown mini skirt constantly peeping in your windows and making the neighborhood feel uneasy. The police have been called several times but she always manages to disappear before they arrive.
9. Comic Con fans roaming the neighborhood causing disruptions while searching for your house.

Per our legal contract, you have 48 hours to address these concerns, in writing, to the Homeowners Association while also submitting a timeline for cleaning up your driveway, yard and house. If we do not hear from you by 5:00 PM on September 15th, 2009, we will start the eviction process.
