Shawn Johnson Wins “Mirrorball Trophy” as “Dancing With The Stars” Winner

Shawn Johnson, the Gold medal-winning Olympic gymnast won the Season 8 of ABC’s "Dancing With The Stars" on 19 May, 2009, Tuesday night. The 17-year-old gymnast was awarded the glittering Mirrorball trophy during the season finale. Shawn and her professional partner Mark Ballas won the reality TV show by scoring over Gilles Marini and his partner Cheryl Burke. The Bachelor’s Melissa Rycroft, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, finished in third place. Read more on this here.
