Campus police opened the investigation after 19-year-old student Shirley Jennifer Poliakoff was found dead in her bedroom on May 6, 2007, of what medical examiners ruled was an accidental overdose of cocaine and alcohol.

Shirley could have lived

Shirley could have lived today if she only saw the patients in a drug and alcohol rehab center. Those people were all on the verge of killing themselves after combining alcohol with powerful drugs such as cocaine or heroin. They survived and opted for a new life.
