Should I use treadmills or walk outside?
posted September 3, 2008 - 8:38amWalking is the mother of all kind of exercise and the best medicine that prevents many diseases. Nowadays people are very busy and hard to find time for morning walk. Here comes the use of treadmills which can do the job.
Treadmill can provide all the advantages that give walking outside? Morning walk certainly provide some exclusive experience which treadmill can never provide. Just imagine walking through the lap of nature, enjoying the sound of morning birds, and exploring the terrific beauty of morning sun. There is a little cold and enjoy the moment with all freshness. Now you see the change of seasons, new flowers, new people, and more.
Why should I steal my pocket by using treadmill if a better solution available? You need to spend a decent sum for purchasing a decent treadmill. And how boring using a same machine daily without much options. And many of friends find other uses like hanging clothes, book shelves, etc.
Some people argue that morning walk has some risks like accidents and mad dogs. We need to find a safe route, without so much rush and it is better if you can accompany your friends or relatives.
Just try to form a walking club with minimum 10 people. Walk slowly, and after some days you found your list of friends rising day by day like your health. What a great moment that would be.
