While I was continuing my research on whether or not to get my cat a health insurance plan for pets, I ran into this article on MSN about whether or not you should buy a pet health insurance plan.  It does a good job for arguing the case both for and against buying a pet insurance plan, and included a decent set of figures for what some expensive proceedures your pet might need would actually cost.
