Siegfried and Roy Preform for the Last time with an Angry Tiger
posted March 1, 2009 - 3:53pmIn Las Vegas, the famouse illusionsists Siegfried and Roy, and the feirce tiger that ruined their careers, all shared the stage again on Saturday evening for a spooky performance.
The short but sweet show featured Roy Horn and Siegfried Fischbacher along with Montecore, the gigantic white tiger that terribly mauled Roy during a 2003 show.
Saturday Horn came out dressed in long blakc robes, with a skeleton mask over his face. The stage was dark and filled with smoke. Horn limped onto the stage, frequently having to balance himself on Fischbacher's shoulder.
The duet perfored a classic illusion as Siegfried was dressed, opposite of Roy, in all white robes and a mask. Siegfried stood inside of a cage that was then covered in drapes. When Roy removed the drapes, Siegfried showed up across stage, the ferocious tiger in his place.
The crowd went wild, and then the men took off their masks. They waved and blew kisses to a stunned audience.
