Signs of Bad Marriage

Signs of Bad Marriage

Fighting amongst couples is common, but when is the line between "typical marriage" and "bad marriage" crossed? If some of these warning signs sound very familiar to you, it may be a sign that your marriage is not a good one. As mentioned, fighting is common; but excessive fighting and arguing is not. If you find yourself arguing over the same subject over and over again, that is definitely not a good thing and could be signs of a bad marriage.

If you find yourself being scolded by your partner for every little thing that you do, a divorce may be coming your way in the near future. Another such sign of a rocky marriage is if you rarely have sex for whatever reason. Sex and intimacy are needed in a relationship, and you will be unhappy without it.
You should be happy when your spouse is around you. If you find yourself happier when you are home alone, that is a sign of a bad marriage. In addition, if one spouse dreams of being with someone else, it could be a sign that the marriage is not a happy one.

If the spouses do not communicate with each other and keep problems to themselves, that is another sign of a bad marriage because it shows a lack of trust. If you find yourself suspicious of your spouse or your spouse is suspicious of you, the marriage is going downhill. A successful marriage needs successful communication; if you find that you no longer have much in common with your spouse, your marriage could be in trouble.

Finally, if you sit down and think one day then come to the conclusion that there is just more bad in the marriage than good, your marriage is definitely in trouble. Why bother going through with the marriage if it brings more pain than pleasure to you?
