Last night on American Idol's Special entitled Idol Gives Back, Simon Cowell finally showed that he does have a human side. In one of the video clips of his trip to Africa he seemed near tears. He said that "We met some of the nicest kids I've ever met in my life," when Ryan Seacrest asked him what stood out about their journey to Africa. The video clips of the Africa trip were truly moving and surprising. Much needs to be done to aid these children and families. American Idol should be commended for their efforts in helping where it is truly needed.
