Simple Caramel Pie

I learned how to make my first pie when I was ten. Momma called it Simple Caramel Pie. It is so simple anyone can make it. There are only three key ingrediants needed to make this particular pie and they are as follows, two cans sweetened condensed milk, a pie crust (preferable graham cracker by most, already made), and cool whipped topping. The first step is the main portion of the work and takes two hours of continuously boiling the sweetened condensed milk. Make sure the pot never runs dry, pay close attention and add water when needed. After two hours of boiling let stand and cool to room temperature. Once cooled you can now open and add the newly made carmel to the pre-made crust, add cool whip to the top, serve and enjoy. Refrigerate any unused portions.
