Simple guides to follow before getting pregnant

Getting pregnant is not a joke. Having a baby inside the womb is something that should not be taken for granted. Though it is important to b careful on what thing we eat as well as on what we do, the US Department of Health and human services have suggested that it is also important to prepare the body before pregnancy. If you’re planning of getting pregnant, you must take care of your body, prior to getting pregnant. Here are some simple tips that could be useful before getting pregnant.
- Do a regular exercise, at least 30 minutes on most days of the week
- Eat healthy balance diet, rich in fruits and vegetables and low in fat
- Regular sleep schedule to have plenty rest every night
- Daily multivitamin, that includes 400 micrograms of folic acid
- Have a regular medical check up an inquire from the doctor whether any current medications may be unsafe during pregnancy
- Up to date vaccinations

Thanks for the comment!

Well, you are certainly right out there. Thanks a lot for the additional information. I'm sure that since you know the set up it would be easier for you to do such healthy activities should become pregnant. Do take care and best regards!

Whoa

Excellent, jdub, exactly what I was thinking. There are a couple more things I would like to say: -Considering the sexual orientation that we have, as you put it, unwanted pregnancies have been common since creation, or evolution, whichever you prefer. I think people are just progressively getting stupider, which is why sex education is such a very good idea. Evidently, nowadays people need to be told exactly what to do to prevent getting pregnant if they don't want to get pregnant. -It would indeed be marvelous if all women exercised, ate a balanced diet, got enough sleep, yada yada. It would benefit men, too. Most people, though, lack the self-motivation to stick with it for too long, so while it's a good idea for all women to be 'perfect' like this, I don't really see it happening. Pregnancy could be the motivator that gets a woman to exercise, sleep, etc. But most pregnant women I've known confess to giving into their box of donuts, banana split and triple-decker sandwich cravings, and it is normal, especially late in pregnancy, for women to have a hard time falling into a deep, uninterrupted sleep. So yeah, whatever. It's great in theory, and if I get pregnant I will definitely be taking folic acid and attempt to follow everyone's good advice, but I also probably will still want that half-gallon of maple syrup-pecan ice cream. (I'll probably eat the whole thing, too.)

Very interesting point indeed

Well, the point you have raised is very much interesting indeed. Its very common to see unwanted pregnancies nowadays considering the sexual orientation that we have. However, in my own opinion, though it would have been good and better to have such action for sexually active females, I think this is more acceptable to those who are only planning to get pregnant. We may however, disseminate this information to any female individuals for them to take into consideration even if they don't have plans to get pregnant.

Question

Since any sexually active woman between puberty and menopause may have an unplanned pregnancy, would you recommend that every woman who is sexually active follow those steps or would those steps be only for any woman who is planning to get pregnant? ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING
