The Simpsons, now in it's 20th season has just been picked up for two more seasons! The popular Fox animated series is already tied with Gunsmoke as the longest running television series and two more years will place the quirky cartoon family from Springfield USA well ahead of any other show in the history of television. It will be hard for any other series to ever beat 22 seasons!

Created by Matt Groening; Homer, Marge and Bart, Lisa and Maggie, (the kids who will never grow up), started as crudely drawn animated shorts on the Tracey Ullman Show which ran from 1987-1990; then grew into the mega-hit, prime time animated series that has been a favorite of adults and children alike all around the world.

The Simpsons is also a favorite of most of today's celebrities and the show boasts an impressive list of famous guest voices from Hollywood such as Elizebeth Taylor, Ron Howard, Susan Sarandon, Glenn Close, Steve Buscemi, Kelsey Grammer and many, many more. Even music stars have appeared on the show like Aerosmith, Hank Williams Jr., Tony Bennett, Ringo Starr, Michael Jackson, James Brown, U2 and The Ramones just to name a few!
