Singapore F1 - 1st Ever Night Race

The first ever F1 night race 26th, 27th and 28th September '08.

As quoted by [KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15 (Bernama) -- The Singapore Formula One Grand Prix, the first time in the history of formula one racing that a race is conducted at night, is slated to debut from Sept 2 -28.--

At an amazing 5.067km long circuit and the most intriguing turns and numerous overtaking opportunities, this is definitely a race to look forward to.

But with speeds up to 300kph, is it safe? Robert Kubica's crash in the F1 Grand Prix in Canada in 2007 makes me wonder about the safety precautions for the night race.

Worries aside, Lewis Hamilton is currently holding the poll position with 76points, Kimi Räikkönen still wants to chase the man. With 5 more races to go, can he do it?

Will we find out next Michael Schumacher or Ayrton Senna?
