Sleepy River Bear Poetry
posted October 6, 2009 - 9:13amThe bear and coyote dwell at Sleepy River
One clubs the other with a sequoia
Howls at the moon
And tells a tale
Bright happiness
And moon bear’s bride
Shelter me from the blazing blades blending Sinofonica
On a coast lit black and blue he shrugs his head and turn to the bear
The blood circulating through my ancestors is in me
A thing about me is that I love to dream
Tell my lonely stories
By Sleep River I drown in numbness a new friend
Bear Poetry
My autobiography is California
I represent my state well
I look a little grizzly
Sleepy River runs in four directions and pays homage to the sea
A bear and her cub walk together
One speaks
One listens to tales of an old story
Fabulous fables from the roof
Impressions of the mind
State glows of fret and fury
Lanterns glow
At her feet
A
New
Stronghold
A path of diligence
A yield sign
Donate to chatty Laver of soap
Built up on the bath
Language astride
A mind blows things out of proportion
They are not proportional
