Small business web design

I have been a web designer for the better part of 10 years and it's not an easy industry. Technology moves so fast that it is hard to to keep up with it. I have experience is asp, html, dhtml, some xml, graphic design and much more. Though it is hard to find a job with these qualifications. If you are interested in doing your own business and working with smaller companies its more likely that you can succeed. That is what I do. I work for smaller companies and provide a one on one experience with the owners. They are free to call me and make changes from day to day. Its the relationship that means everything. All the design experiences and software knowledge can not make a business successful.

Customer service is so important. Once a customer agree's to the sale and you finalize it, the job is not done. It's only begun. You have to have continuous relations with them. This will lead to wom (word of mouth) sales. These are by far more successful ways to have good continued success. My web company can be found at www.vinegrovewebdesign.com. You can see the customers websites and read about how I use community and relationships to make a good small business. Designers just like me are small entrepreneurs with big visions.
