So Maybe Yesterday Wasn't the Limit After All
posted October 29, 2006 - 6:15pm I thought I was annoyed yesterday when I wrote, “Ok, That’s The Limit!” but they are coming at me fast and furious and today I find myself annoyed yet again.
A retired teacher friend told me this just happened to her. She lives in a 100 year old
farm house which is surrounded by those $1 million castlettes that are becoming all too familiar. By the way, they are built on land which was sold to them by her parents. Nonetheless, one day she was working in her garden and one of her posh neighbors came over to say that her old house was running down the property value of her house and why couldn’t she tear down her house and build a new one or sell it to someone who could.
Well, I was once again flummoxed by such unfathomable gall but if I had been the one on the receiving end of this insult I would have been a lot more than just flummoxed.
I don’t belong here anymore. Scotty, please beam me up now!
