Ah.. Socom: Confrontation. The next installment of the Socom series with an Online only gameplay. Slant Six took this project and has been stunning fans of the series with screenshots and videos of all the classic socom gameplay with extremely lifelike visual effects and almost like your there audio. Even though there has been a Socom 1, 2, and 3, along with the branches for the PSP. Confrontations sets the bar for games everywhere taking back all the best qualities of Socom 2 and taking out the let downs from Socom 3 hopefully making one the of best games for Playstation for a long time. Socom: Confrontations will include 3 of the most liked maps from Socom 2 which include.. Desert Glory, Frostfire, and Crossroads. This game is due in September 2008 and comes packaged with the new playstation bluetooth headset. Great deal if you ask me. Although no singleplayer is available, the multiplayer should keep you hooked for months on end, or even longer if it lives up to the hipe. The series usually only supported up to 16 player max, Slant six kicked it up a notch with a great 32 players of socom greatness.
