Sony alpha a200
posted September 12, 2008 - 3:50amIf you are looking to buy into a digital slr system, then look no more than the sony alpha range, although most people are somewhat confused on which dslr range to buy into, most people will tell you to buy a cannon or a nikon, becouse of there range of lenses and flashes, however a lot of people don't know you can use a whole host of konica minolta lenses dating back to the 1980's.
And of course sony make nikon sensors, so why pay more for a camera which does not have as much as the sony version, sure people worry becouse sony have not got a full frame dlsr(yet) but we are talking about a company which has more potential than nikon or canon simply becouse of money terms and the fact that they will release a huge line up in the next few years.
If we take a look at sony's first dlsr the A100, when it was realised sony took the spot for third in the market with only one camera! Due to all of the konica minolta heads.
This isnt a review its simply a look at some of the things that alot of people dont think about while investing into a system, if you notice shops dont give the sony dslr much justice, until just reasently when staff were trained about the range, so why do i want you to invest into the sony range, well a 10.2mp with 18-70mm and in-body stabilisation now for only £249, there isnt realy much more to ask for for a amauter camera, and if the sony a200 isnt what your looking for then look at the sony a300/a350, which both include live view on a rather sophisticated tilting screen.
Plus with a whole host of sigma and tamron lenses there isnt much to lose, to start investing in your own dlsr!
