Sony Isn't Done Stealing From Nintendo
posted September 22, 2006 - 8:16amDuring Sony's address at the Tokyo Game Show, they announced that you would be able to download Sega Genesis and NEC PC Engine games on the PS3. They did not say how much these games would cost at this time.
To me this is just another blatant attempt by Sony to copy what it's competitors are trying to accomplish. The Nintendo Wii gets to download classic games, the Playstation 3 gets to download classic games. The Nintendo Wii gets motion sensing controls, the Playstation 3 gets motion sensing control. The Xbox 360 has an integrated online community, The Playstaion 3 has an integrated online community. You get the idea. The problem is that everyone sees right through these attempts but it seems like they don't know that. I will do my part with an all caps announcement to Sony.
SONY! THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM ALL THE VIDEO GAME CONSUMERS OF THE WORLD. WE LIKE INNOVATION. WII REALLY DO. BUT YOU JUST CAN'T GO AROUND STEALING OTHER COMPANY'S IDEAS! JUST GIVE US THE GAMES THAT ONLY THE PLAYSTATION 3 CAN DELIVER AND WE WILL BE HAPPY. WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER HALF-ASSESED ATTEMPT TO GET ON THE BANDWAGON OF WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING. THANK YOU.
