Sopranos win at Emmy Awards

The Sopranos had 15 nominations for the Emmy Awards and ended up batting a decent 3-for-15. Groundbreaking series takes best drama honours. In its three most prominent categories -- best drama, and best actor and actress in a drama -- The Sopranos won the biggest, as best drama. It had won that prize only once before.
