Sox win series. Rockies fight on the way down. Fuentes bad choice last two games.
posted October 29, 2007 - 1:28amPerhaps next year or two for the Rockies to get there again?
I hoped for a Rockies sweep, and sure enough they got swept.
Last two games should not have featured Pitcher Fuentes, since anyone else might not have hurt the team as much. Two times bad decisions brought Fuentes to the mound. Well, that is just one commentator's opinion. It wasn't their destiny. But if we go back three games, we need to get the Rockies base running coaches and Halliday credit for the effort.
OK. If the Rockies do not return to the Series in the next three years; they probably will not be in the series until the summer arctic sea ice vanishes; polar bears are essentially extinct, along with the ringed seals; and it doesn't snow in the Denver area until after Thanksgiving and sometimes as late as Christmas.
If that happens, that is, they don't make it back to the Series before the fate of polar bears and its prey is cinched in extinction--likely none of us will be here and all the advertisers that have picked xombytes here, will, like you and I -- be out of business. Just as extinct as the Polar Bear.
Well. At least no one will feel terribly cold.
Congratulations Sox.
