Two companies from America are planning in the near future to transmit solar-energy collected from space back to earth for commercialized power-generation.
The two companies, Pacific Ocean natural gas and Electrical, headquartered in San Francisco planned from the beginning of 2016 to purchase space solar-energy power from another partner in California sponsored by some satellite experts.
The two Pacific Ocean companies declared their cooperation requires authorities in California for approval. According to the project, they will collect solar-energy with the aid of solar-energy plate sent back to earth, then convert to radiofrequency which is to be conveyed back to receiver in California. Radiofrequency is directly convertible to power which shall be incorporated in Pacific Ocean’s power network.
In actual fact, scientists have long before put forth new idea of solar-energy power-generation and devoted them-self to the undertaking by carrying out lots of research and experiments. But as of today, no news on commercial function was heard. Some analysts said whether the project will be realized on schedule depends on difficult problems to be solved, for instance, space power-station which is to be launched into space in batches for purpose of automatic installment and assembling.
