Spain Wins Euro Cup 2008 - Germany Vanquished!!

The best & the most deserving team in the EURO Cup 2008 tournament, Spain wins the championship 1-0. Germany had no answer to the excellent attacking football that the Spaniards displayed, and their defending was superb too. The Hero of the match was Torres, surely one of the greatest strikers in World Football.

The Germans in the second half never looked like they played to win. The realization of defeat dawned upon them as they looked all frustrated with Captain Ballack losing his temper quite often in the latter part of the game, with other German players committing fouls often. The Spanish passing in the last 2 matches specially had been a treat to watch. The deserving side were the winners and Germany has to accept Spain was the better side. For me the Spanish win was indeed a fitting finish to the Euro Cup 2008.
