Spicy Grilled Shrimp Sandwich Recipe

I am on a diet so I am constantly making recipes for grilled items that leave out butter, and use stuff like garlic, pepper and parsley.  Last night I bought some fresh shrimp and wanted to make a sandwich that would fill me up but also be a healthier choice than a grilled cheese.

This recipe requires some unusual ingredients that most people will not have so you may have to modify it.  You need melon liquor, triple sec, garlic powder, black pepper, banana pepper, cheese, lettuce,4 medium shrimp and 2 slices of bread.

In a small cup pour about an ounce of melon liquor and an ounces of triple sec.  Pour in a moderate amount of pepper and garlic into the cup.  Heat a pan to medium and pour the sauce into the pan.  Cook the shrimp for a few minutes on each side until fully cooked.  Toast the slices of bread.  Add lettuce, cheese, some slices of banana peppers, and 4 medium grilled shrimp. I left out mayo to try and make the sandwich a little healthier.
