Stargate Atlantis will end this season

The SCI FI Channel series Stargate Atlantis will be ending after the fifth season. After the series has ended there will be a two hour movie that will be released in Sci-fi 2009. The movie is suppose to be part of a long series of Atlantis movies. It will turn into a network franchise to stay with the Sci-fi channel. I personally will miss the show, but things are always changing.
