"The Little House" by Virginia Lee Burton

Goosebumps
Goosebumps My kids really enjoyed those. Especially my eldest daughter. Actually, I think she has them for her son now.
Goosebumps: Don't Go to Sleep!
The Little House
"Once upon a time there was a Little House way out in the country. She was a pretty Little House and she was strong and well built." (I think this may have been the inspiration for the song "Brick House" by the Commodores "She's a briiick house..Mighty mighty just lettin' it all hang out")
Thanks, I just put it on my list of books for the grandbabies.
The Three Investigators
The Secret of Terror Castle! Great young adult book! Very similiar to Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys
Goosebumps
Oh wow, those really bring the memories flying back. Such fantastic titles, too. I remember one was called: "Say Cheese and Die."
How can anyone ever top that? :)
Night of the Living Dummy
and how about these other great Goosebumps titles?
My Best Friend Is Invisible

How I Got My Shrunken Head

OR
It Came from Beneath the Sink

Of course they have adaptations of all of these stories on DVD now because more and more people tend to use the electronic babysitter these days instead of reading their kids a book once in a while. Not that the DVD's aren't entertaining, it's just that they are no replacement for reading and using one's imagination.
99 cent Mysteries..Cool
Never heard of that series, but any book that encourages kids to read is good. Good value for parents, too.
