Steve Irwin's croc days are over!! My niece grew up on the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. I was very moved and touched thinking about his life and leaving his wife and children behind.
The memorial, on Animal Planet tuesday night, was just as advertised - happy, joyous, celebrating his life, not crying over his death.
Many people close to him spoke of his enthusaism, his zeal for animals and conservation and his life of his family. Bindi, his 8 year old daughter, spoke, reading from a page she had written, talking about his love of the zoo and the animals, saying she wanted to follow in his footsteps.
He changed the world for all animals and for Australia.
