Stolen Super Bowl Rings Recovered
posted January 28, 2009 - 4:26pmMassachusetts State Police and FBI agents recovered 27 Super Bowl XLII rings that were made for the New York Giants. The rings were stolen along with a total of 2 million dollars worth of loot from E.A. Dion, a jeweler in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The rings were worth an estimated $172,000. The rings were recovered from a safety deposit box and three people were charged with receiving stolen property in connection with the Superbowl ring heist which occurred in June.
