Storing Bell Peppers to Keep Them Fresh

Have you ever wondered why your bell peppers look withered after a few days when you store them in the refridgerator? The reason they look like that is they are being cut improperly. Keeping your peppers fresh if not using the whole pepper is simple and easy. All you have to do is cut the pepper off at the bottom end away from the stem and seeds. Then just place the seed and stem half in a plastic bag. The seeds keep the pepper fresh longer by absorbing the excess moisture. I hope this helps to solve the mystery of the withering peppers.
