Read more details about these very cheap prepaid plans.

It is pretty clear that Straight Talk is the winner for a few reasons (read more in depth at the link directly above here).  Here they are briefly.

Cheap.  These plans are very affordable.  One plans costs $30 for 1,000 minutes and the same amount of text messages, with some free web browsing.  The second plan--and this is the one that has people really excited--is the Unlimited Straight Talk Plan, which costs $45 per month.

Unlimited usage.  With this plan, you get UNLIMITED use of your cell phone for talking, texting, web browsing, and 411 calls.

Strong Network.  One of the strongest indicators that these TracFone cheap prepaid plans are optimal for many people is that they run on Verizon's network.  So you get prepaid prices, but big league service.  Visit straighttalk.com for more information.
