Strange Bear

Strange Bear

I took these pictures about 2 years apart, with my Canon power shot A20 digital camera.
The first picture was taken in Washington State in 2004 in my folks backyard, when I took the photo of course I did not see this with my own eyes, only after getting photos off the camera and on to the computer did the bear image show up. It is hard to see when your close to the monitor, so if you can not see it right away, back away from the screen some.

I was visiting my son and we were discussing what Orb's may be and I told him that I have a picture of a bear in an anomoly with and orb. He asked if I had ever taken a picture of a bear, I remembered that I did a couple years back (a bear painted on the side of a semi truck) so I found that photo on one of my older cd's and here they are. My son was thinking that the card in the digital camera may have re-imposed my old bear into the anomoly.

As you can see the bear in this photo is a different pose as the one on top. So i guess the digital camera does not super impose other photo's that you take. We were a little sad, because we thought we had the whole thing figured out. But then again i still want an explanation of these strange, beautiful things.

Anomalies
a·nom·a·ly ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-nm-l) n. pl. a·nom·a·lies Deviation or departure from the normal or common order, form, or rule. One that is peculiar, irregular, abnormal, or difficult to classify: “Both men are anomalies: they have... likable personalities but each has made his reputation as a heavy” (David Pauly).
***Astronomy. The angular deviation, as observed from the sun, of a planet from its perihelion.

Apparition
ap·pa·ri·tion ( P ) Pronunciation Key (p-rshn) n. A ghostly figure; a specter. A sudden or unusual sight: “ [The designer's] indoor-outdoor reversals and juxtapositions call forth a Magritte apparition beneath a Miami moon” (Herbert Muschamp). The act of appearing; appearance.

Ectoplasm
ec·to·plasm ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kt-plzm) n. Biology. The outer portion of the continuous phase of cytoplasm of a cell, sometimes distinguishable as a somewhat rigid, gelled layer beneath the cell membrane.
The visible substance believed to emanate from the body of a spiritualistic medium during communication with the dead. An immaterial or ethereal substance, especially the transparent corporeal presence of a spirit or ghost.

Is it one of the above? Or something else?
I have not done any changes at all on the photos except to crop them.

The Great Bear Spirit

Well, it took a little while for me to see it, but I guess I see the bear. But, in my opinion, to think it is anything other than mist is pushing it. It's kind of like looking at clouds and saying "that one looks like a bear." Then again, perhaps it the Great Bear Spirit... That was a very interesting theory that your son had about another photo being superimposed over another.
