Strange little haiku

Strange little haiku

heh, I was bored as you can tell. It's not really a haiku as it doesn't address nature like it truly should, but I thought it was funny :)

The trees drop their leaves
my window can be seen now
I should put pants on

Call it a window, if it's a window

Actually it is a window and even a balcony door and windows in the next room. I have been known to lounge about on the balcony in my boxers and t-shirt because, well...people rarely ever look up when walking :)

Don't back out now.

A friend years ago came to me to say he had purchased a truck like mine! What a wise thing!! A TRUCK LIKE MINE Hey les, I bought a truck like yours! Oh. Wow. That is some truck then. You got the 460 engine? No. I got the smaller engine. Oh. You got the heavy duty "superduty F-260" suspension? No. I got the lighter suspension. You got the 3/4-ton with ton springs? You can run duals? No the suspension is lighter. Well, you got the 250, right? No. I got a Ranger. Look Robin. How is the truck like mine? Well, it says Ford on it. Oh. That is like mine. It goes that far? Chris It still is a pretty good imitation haiku, and is about nature. You part of nature! I like it. It reminds me of my friend's truck. Kinda. well, a little, well somewhat, you may have to "stretch it" a little. It is a window . . .right?

I Love It :)

This is great! Humor AND haiku. Who could ask for anything more?

Boxer and t-shirt

Actually I live on what would be considered the 4th floor (by American counting) so there's no worry about people looking in ;) But I keep the flat a little on the cool side to save on energy so it just isn't prudent to lounge about partly dressed, don't want to catch a cold or something heh. Dancing butt-naked in front of the window never crossed my mind. I'll take it under advisement heh.

Could be drafty.

It actually does address nature, through implication: it tells us that the trees are losing their leaves, which tells us that fall is upon us. The poem also implies a point of insecurity on the part of the speaker. Why is concerned that someone will see him with his pants off? The best cure is for the speaker to dance before the open window, butt-naked.
