Street Vibrations 2008
posted November 14, 2008 - 5:58pmThe annual Street Vibrations motorcycle rally held in Reno, Nevada has become on of the largest gatherings of motorcycle enthusiasts in the United States. The gather is open to all makes and models of motorcycles but Harley Davidson motorcycles definitely dominate the rally.
Virginia Street in Reno is the center of festivities for Street Vibrations. For registered participants, they sign in and receive their Street Vibrations participant packet at the Atlantis Hotel and Casino on South Virginia Street. From there, the fun begins in earnest as riders spread across the area for various events.
The Virginia Street events are the first signs of Street Vibrations here in Reno. Riders are treated to bands, demonstrations and of course a parade of motorcycles, not to mention the street vendors with every kind of merchandise that a biker could possibly want.
The roadhouse was set up for bands and contests throughout the rally. Some people like to cut up and have fun as in this group enjoying a band at the roadhouse...
The festivites aren't limit to just Reno, Virginia City has a huge parade of motorcycles all day on Saturday. About 10,000 bikes were present for the parade this year. Here's a shot of some of the fun in Virginia City...
The name of the game during Street Vibrations is bikes, bikes and more bikes and everyone has a great time looking at the bikes but the girls get their share of attention as well...
If you are a motorcyle enthusiast then you won't want to miss Street Vibrations 2009 which will be held next September.
