Stuart Scott, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has been removed from the company for violating company policies, according to an official statement.

"Stuart Scott's employment with Microsoft was terminated after an investigation for violation of company policies," said Microsoft spokesman Lou Gellos.

Stuart Scott, joined Microsoft in July to serve alongside Ron Markezich as one of two CIOs.
