Student Sues for $1million for Xbox Loss

CINCINNATI - At Yale a student from Ohio is seeking $1 million from US Airways for an Xbox video game console he claims was stolen from his luggage.

Jesse Maiman, a 21 year old student at the renowned university, alleges that,while flying from New Haven, Connecticut, to Cincinnati, his Xbox 360 video console gaming system, with a found it's way out his luggage.

Maiman, the student, claims he received "an unconscionable run-around" from the airline, as reported by the Cincinnati newspaper. Maiman asking $1,700 for the replacement of the gaming system and for the maximum damages of $1 million.

A US Airways spokesperson said the company was not aware of the suit but said that the government limits liability for loss of possessions to only $3,300 per bag.
